You Are Here is a new exhibit opening in 2024 that will make a generational impact on how people experience and understand the history of the Fox Valley. Currently, there is no comprehensive history of the Fox Cities where students, residents, or tourists can learn how and why the Fox Cities came to be.
This new exhibition will cover 3,100 square feet in the History Museum and feature four thematic areas demonstrating the relevance and interconnectivity of the region's landscape, peoples, and cultures through time.
The project includes the creation of two educational spaces adjacent to the gallery: a History Lab and a Discovery Room. Here students and educators will receive supplemental educational programs, gain hands-on experience, and create histories of their own.
