Whether you are planning a group experience for your staff, alumni group, club, family, scout group, youth group, or friends, the History Museum offers unique virtual event options. Your guests will interact with experts and educators to learn about Outagamie County and Fox Valley history using historic photographs, archival documents, videos, and more.

Houdini: American Immigrant 
During this program, visitors will learn about immigration to the United States through the lens of Harry Houdini and his family. We will explore the 1880 census and many historic photographs to learn about immigration to the United States in the 19th century.


Life and Lies of Harry Houdini
Learn about Harry Houdini's life, his connection to Appleton, and do some myth-busting about the lies he told throughout his life. Visitors will get an in-depth look at Houdini's childhood and career by exploring the museum's photograph and artifact collections.
