Explore scanned primary source documents and accompanying curriculum related to turning points in the history of the Fox Valley region.
A collaborative website offering pictures and text from The History Museum and the Appleton Public Library.
Trunks are free to schools and include lesson plans, 3-dimensional items as well as supporting pictures and videos. Loan periods are two weeks. Topics include the following:
-Wisconsin Indians: Woodland Indian culture and the Fur Trade (For groups within the greater Appleton area, a docent may be available to come and present Wisconsin Indians in your classroom.)
-Harry Houdini
-Time Capsules
-Sowing Settlers
-Reading Between the Stiches (quilts)
